“Does God recruit heroes of faith through whom to write His epic stories? No! He takes common ordinary men and women who are willing to be used and makes them heroes of faith. Leah is a standout example. Michelle, has captured this truth in her book, Leah Unveiled.

“The Bible is a book with more treasures in it than any other. While so many of those treasures are sitting right out in the open where any traveler who wanders through its pages can see them, Michelle takes you to a lesser-known jewel of Scripture and displays it beautifully, allowing the story of Leah to shine light on, and complement, the greatest treasure in Scripture- Jesus Christ. This study will help any Christian to delight in Christ, and in God’s Word.”

Your words led me into a much richer understanding of Leah's character and her relationship with the Lord, and mine by extension. I appreciated the explanation of the names of her children. Certain key points resonated with me personally - "God will not force the world to stop hating Christ or His follower. He will not remove us from the hostile environment of this sin-cursed world...yet. However, we can rest assured that, as He did with Leah, He sees, He hears, and He reveals His love and meets our innermost needs on a personal basis." Praise the Lord!

I feel the truth in these words, "The silence of God seems deafening. The stillness of God feels unbearable. Sometimes, the most difficult places in life to be courageous, are in the waiting periods."  My husband has a chronic and seemingly untreatable physical condition that brings him discomfort and pain. It IS hard to be courageous while we pray that the Lord will deliver him from it. It's easy to get lost in the moment. We need to keep our eyes on the Kingdom and remember His work, His plan.
