Voluntarily - requires effort and work by all individuals Matthew 5:6
Intentional - consistency in time focused on spiritual growth Colossians 1:9-14
Open accountability - honest with the struggles, working through questions, engaged in life & its temptations Hebrews 10:19-25
Gospel centered - knowing what the Gospel of Christ is, understanding the freedom it brings; wisdom in its daily necessity Luke 9:23
Built on Christ/Holy Spirit not human dependence - learning to feast at the table of Christ with the Holy Spirit Ephesians 3:14-21
Prayer - develop a life of prayer; nothings to small or big for the power of prayer and its vitality for the believer Philippians 4:6-7
Training - how to read the Bible, and study by cross-referencing within context of each passage Psalm 119:9-16; 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Equipping - discovering one’s spiritual gifts; find and use good resources/tools to enhance Bible study 1 Corinthians 12
Testimony - confidence in sharing one’s witness of relationship with Christ and His works of grace in sanctification 1 Peter 3:13-17
Missional - discussing and shadowing practical opportunities to build others up Psalm 145
Becoming the “Disciple-or” - partnering to invest in another’s life Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesians 5:1-2
